At the foundation of research is the honest debate of ideas. So, as we encourage students to do research, we also ensure that they uphold the highest standards of research honesty.
Trust in our teamWe recruit talented research mentors that we think can create life changing experiences for students. We trust our mentors to do what's best for the student (even if it means tweaking things like our deadlines or program structure).
Be the lightBeacon Scholars represent the beacon of knowledge and inspiration that the team strive to embody and it refers to the type of people we surround ourselves with – those who are positive, optimists, and encouraging for new researchers.
Relationships MatterWe believe that the relationships we build (between student and mentor, between team members, etc.) are as important as the end product we create. We tend to these relationships because we know they are at the heart of all of our growth.
